IGS Energy (Interstate Gas Supply, Inc.) is a privately held, family-owned retail natural gas and electricity supplier founded in 1989 in Dublin, Ohio. The company serves residential, commercial, and industrial customers across deregulated energy markets in the United States and Canada. Following its 2025 acquisition of Just Energy, IGS serves approximately 7.5 million residential customer equivalents across more than a dozen states.

   IGS Energy acquires Accent Energy, a retail gas and electricity supplier with over 140,000 residential and commercial customers in New York, Texas, and California, along with its subsidiary Dynowatt. [source]
3. September 2014
   IGS Energy acquires Border Energy; the natural gas customer book transferred effective August 31, 2014 and the electric book effective September 30, 2014. [source]
4. January 2016
   IGS Energy acquires DPL Energy Resources, Inc. (DPLER), the competitive retail electric subsidiary of DPL Inc. (parent of Dayton Power & Light), adding approximately 126,000 Ohio customers. Transaction effective January 1, 2016. [source]

   IGS Energy acquires an 80% membership interest in Dominion Energy Solutions, LLC, effective December 1, 2021. Dominion Energy retains a 20% noncontrolling interest. [source]
